Forest School
Taken during one of the forest school sessions I ran to promote teamwork and imagination - this was the tribe and each pattern meant a different name.

Natural Art
Workshop painting stones with patterns from nature

Archery competition
This was taken during a forest school session in a local woodland where we decided to make our own bows and hold an archery competition.

Natural Weaving
Some weaving made from sticks found in the woods. We used these to catch flying pixies

Forest School sessions
Various pictures from some forest school sessions I ran for Dogsthorpe Academy .
Gardening
Watering some lettuces grown with gardening club in a local school
Risk Taking Play
Forest School sessions allow children to manage their own risk taking in a natural environment. Part of my job as a FS Practitoner is to ensure adequate risk assessments are in place and to oversee the activities chosen by the participants without negatively affecting their engagement.
Natural Craft
part of a forest school session where we decided to make use the bow saw to make a game of naughts and crosses
Working one to one in a school garden
Pond Dipping
Pond dipping in a one to one school gardening session
Fire Lighting
One of the most exciting parts of attending forest school is that participants get to learn how to safely make a fire outside. This is a good example of being able to manage risk and develop skills.
Den Building
Deal building during a woodland session with a school. We had out lunch here
