What I'm up to

Come and learn, make and tell together. Here's where you can find me.

My Art

I make colourful, textured art through painting, weaving, spinning yarn and other textile crafts. My work ranges from large-scale murals to smaller, more intricate pieces. I'm driven by a love of playing with colour and the process of making itself, which is perhaps why traditional crafts like weaving and spinning suit the way my mind works.

Workshops in my studio

Hands-on making at Unique Cottage Studios: spinning, weaving, textiles, natural art and painting. Small groups, all skill levels and plenty of tea. Book a place in my shop.

Storytelling

Every so often I perform folk tales and old stories the old way, in person and in good company. Dates are announced in my newsletter and on Facebook, so sign up to hear about the next one.

Tarot

Book a one to one tarot reading with me at any time in my shop.

I also run Tarot to Art evenings in my studio, a creative space for exploring the Tarot through art and journaling. We pull cards, share stories, explore symbolism and make art inspired by the themes and archetypes of the Tarot. There's no need to be an experienced artist or Tarot reader; these sessions are about curiosity and experimentation rather than making a finished piece. Places are booked through my shop, so join my newsletter to hear when the next one is on.

Angry Pencil

A grassroots big painting event for artists in Peterborough, where artists come to reclaim their creativity and make big art, literally. No workshops to lead, no outcomes to chase, no pressure to perform. Just show up and paint. It's a little bit punk.

Follow Angry Pencil on Instagram or Facebook to hear about the next paint jam. Plus grab an Angry Pencil t-shirt at our Merch store.

In the community

Much of my work happens out in the community, with schools, charities, arts organisations and community groups across Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire. I run creative projects, residencies and workshops that bring people together through art, story and making, often with people who don't usually get the chance. I believe communities need art, and I love helping make that happen.
